Serial Killer Dinner Sells Out at Noir Dark Spirits

Scranton’s gothic hotspot is completely booked for its “Last Meal”…

Last Friday, Noir Dark Spirits (Scranton, PA) announced its “Last Meal.” Advertised as a limited-seating, five-course dinner to be held on July 13th, the event quickly caused a buzz on social media. The fact that each of the five courses would be inspired by an infamous serial killer’s last meal before execution had a lot to do with that.

The event is completely sold out, less than a week after it was first advertised.

Noir Dark Spirits (Scranton, PA) has announced "The Last Meal," a serial killer inspired, five-course dinner.

It’s also worth mentioning that Noir Dark Spirits booked every available seating for The Last Meal before the menu was unveiled. Yes, a $70 price point for a five-course dinner is a pretty good deal. But selling out before anyone even knew what food would be served? That’s impressive.

The Facebook post that Noir Dark Spirits put up announcing the Last Meal has so far garnered reactions from nearly 350 people, has generated 350 comments, and has been shared close to 100 times.

Obviously, marketing an event that invokes real-life serial killers is going to generate lots of attention. However, anyone who’s at all familiar with Noir Dark Spirits will readily attest that this is completely on-brand for the Scranton establishment. The regular menu features items such as The Cursed Cauldron, The Butcher, and Steak & Stakes.

Each of those dishes is delicious, by the way.

As of this writing, there are no reservations available on Noir’s online booking site for July 13th. That being said, if you’re really interested in the Last Meal, you can always call (570-871-4387) or email the restaurant to request being added to a wait list, if one is available. It’s possible that someone might cancel their reservation between now and 7/13.
