The Bar and Company (Dickson City, PA) has announced Stephen Marquette as its new head chef.

In a social media post dated 5 May, The Bar and Company made the following announcement:

We’re excited to officially welcome Stephen Marquette as the new head chef at The Bar and Company.

Stephen graduated from one of the best culinary programs in the United States in 2004, where he laid the foundation for what has become an impressive culinary career. After graduating, he has sharpened his skills for the past 20 years at several extremely prestigious restaurants both in Pennsylvania and New York City. These include Taven on the Green in New York City and the Sagamore Resort.

Upon Returning to Northeast PA, Stephen brought his talent to several noteable kitchens, including the highly regarded Hemisphere – an upscale dining destination in Clarks Summit known for its refined cuisine and exceptional service. Now, Chef Stephen is bringing his passion and creativity to The Bar and Company, where he’ll be completely revamping the menu. Expect fresh ideas, elevated flavors, and exciting changes that reflect his signature style and commitment to quality.

We’re proud to have Chef Stephen leading our kitchen just in time for Mother’s Day and can’t wait for you to experience what’s next.

While (as of this writing) The Bar and Company hasn’t unveiled Chef Steven’s new menu, it has given us a few hints about what we can expect. Its Mother’s Day brunch menu has been posted and includes dishes such as Crab Benedict, Bananas Foster French Toast, Avocado BLT Benedict, and Croque Madame.

Additionally, the restaurant hinted at an updated and elevated wing night, posting the below preview to its Facebook page.

The Bar and Company (Dickson City, PA) teased Fire Kissed Wings, a new item on it updated menu.

Those are certainly some fancy-looking chicken wings. As a regular Bar and Company diner (I go there at least once a month), I’m genuinely excited to see the updated menu and to shove some of Chef Steven’s food directly into my mouth hole.
