The event will take place on July 19th and will feature a variety of local wines, paired with a specially curated menu by Chef Oliver Peters. What wines will be featured? What kind of food will be served? How much does it cost?

You might be wondering why I would take the time to write about an event without knowing all the details. Fair question. I have a few reasons. First, this is a dinner being hosted at a popular Stroudsburg restaurant, overseen by an experienced chef, and showcasing some local vino. Knowing just those things, I’m already down.
Second, events such as this tend to sell out. If you are at all interested in attending the Summer Wine Dinner, I would encourage you to call The Happy Hour Bar and Grill (570-420-7720) to get your reservation made.
Finally, it is summertime in Northeast Pennsylvania. We don’t have many warm months in the 570 area code, and the ones that we are blessed with deserve to be celebrated. Curated wine dinners hosted at great local eateries seems (to me, anyway) like a damn good way to spend Summer nights.
