“Adult happy meal” anyone?
Bar 1019 at Basilico’s Pizzeria (Dickson City) has announced a few changes to its happy hour. Delicious changes. In addition to an updated small plate menu, the restaurant is also offering an “adult happy meal” special.
It includes wine.
The pizza at Basilico’s is reason enough to stop into the restaurant. But if you’re the harder-to-convince type, Bar 1019 (located inside the restaurant) would like a word. A new small plate happy hour menu (available Monday – Friday from 3pm to 6pm) has just been debuted, providing an oasis for those in the Dickson City area in need of food, drink, and shelter from the elements.

There’s a lot to like about that menu, Internet friends. Obviously, you shouldn’t be allowed to visit Basilico’s Bar 1019 and have a flatbread. Those alone are worth the price of admission, in my opinion. The small plate offerings also deserve some attention. Arancini and Buratta Crostinis with a glass of Pinot Noir sounds amazing.
But wait…there’s more.

Basilico’s Bar 1019 is also offering what it describes on its Facebook page as an “adult happy meal”. It doesn’t come with a toy but it does include a Personal Pizza, a Caesar Salad, and a glass of wine. The Bar 1019 Happy Meal is offered for $19 and is available every day from 12pm to 3pm.
Taken together, Basilico’s Bar 1019 Happy Meal and its revamped happy hour menu is a damn compelling reason to take a half-day at work and spend an afternoon at this place, making your way through the afternoon by stuffing your face with pizzas, wine, and tasty appetizers. That sounds a lot better than whatever the hell you were supposed to be doing at your job.
